Foiling and Scow Moths
The International Foiling Moth is an eleven foot long, high performance, single handed racing dinghy. It is one of the few development classes left in the world and the class has very few design rules, including no weight limit.
For more information contact:BSC Foiling Moth Class Captain Andrew Sim Email: moth@balmoralsc.com.au Phone: 0402 688 778 Moth Website: www.moth.asn.au We invite Moth sailors to join us. Scow and lowrider moths
We have a fleet of historic moths (scows and lowriders) which sail every Saturday as part of the regular fleet. The fleet consists of Scow moths from the 80's and 90's and welcomes interest and new members who are looking to build/ buy or explore sailing on a budget.
The Scow moth has a long history as one of the fastest and most fun you can have on single hander. Most of the boats have been found and renovated, however we do have new boats that are starting to appear in the fleet. If you have an interest in joining us for some fun on the water and enjoy a mob of passionate mothies who love helping and offering support and advice, then come and say hi and we can help you get involved. Reach out to Mike Salter 0418 453 332 or mwjsalter@gmail.com or visit our Scow and Low Riders FB page or International Moth Class Association of Australia - Lowriders and see what's possible. |
