Easy, Fun, No Experience Needed !
 
Bring your friends in a relaxed, safe environment or chose to take the helm and learn about sailing, or refresh your previous sailing skills.

Beginning on 17 October 2026 and running every second week (with the exception of a short break over Christmas/New Year) Balmoral Sailing Club and Balmoral Water Sports Centre join forces to run our extremely popular social sailing program.

Registration is through Balmoral Water Sports and will open in September. It books out quickly so make sure you don’t leave it until the last minute to register.

Sessions begin at 9am with a short safety briefing in the clubhouse. Then on the water by 9.30. Return to the shore at 11.30am for a post sail sausage sizzle and social. Catamarans and life jackets provided. We also have experienced skippers go on the boats with you.

The price per session is $68 for non-BSC members.
Join Balmoral Sailing Club as a Social Sailing Member ($180 per year) and pay $40 per session + get 15% discount on 4 x 2 hour learn to sail package with Balmoral Water Sports Centre.
