We're passionate about making sailing accessible, social and enjoyable for everyone.
Whether you're completely new to sailing, returning after a break, or simply looking for a fun morning on Balmoral Bay with family and friends, Social Sailing is a great way to get involved.
In partnership with Balmoral Water Sports Centre, we're helping more people experience the joy of sailing and become part of our vibrant sailing community.
Everyone welcome: Open to adults aged 18+ who are comfortable swimming. No sailing experience required.
Learn something new: Try sailing in a safe and relaxed environment.
Bring family and friends: Share a great morning on the water.
Take the helm: Learn the basics or refresh previous sailing skills.
Meet new people: Become part of the Balmoral sailing community.
Pathway to membership: Discover everything our Club has to offer.
Social Sailing runs every second Saturday from October to April.
9:00 am: Welcome and safety briefing
9:30 am - 11:30 am: On the water with experienced volunteer skippers
11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Sausage sizzle and social catch-up
Catamarans and life jackets provided
Casual Sailor: $68 per session
Balmoral Sailing Club Social Sailing Member

BSC is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit club, and all revenue is reinvested into coaching, boats, sails and equipment.
Places are limited and sessions regularly book out, so we recommend registering early.
